I have an anteriorly displaced disc in my jaw and have been on a liquid and very soft food diet for over three weeks now. I am out of perspective and any reserve of good humor I may have built up. And I historically hate smoothies. I hate them more now. Protein powder is nasty and stevia tastes like menthol cigarettes.
