history.

I have been listening to an interview my friend did with my Grandma.

Hearing my Grandma’s voice and laughter has been a blessing and a balm this weekend.

My eldest babbling away, toys crashing in the background while they chatted at the dining room table, I remember the day well.

Hard to believe it was ten years ago but I am four children richer and in another country so it must be.

I am forever grateful to you, Mandy. Thank you.

Often I tell my children how important it is to hear what people have to say. How living history teaches us more than a text ever would.
