unrealistic expectations.

Children, they can never please us can they?
All we ask is that they spend most of their day
In free, creative play and spend the rest of it cleaning their rooms.
Learn without memorizing, exhibit self control in a world of out of hand adults.
If they just learned to love kale, eat just one cookie
We adults could cut them some slack.
Be grateful, not greedy and do as I say not as I do.
When you grow up, you’ll understand.
